Jeff Cole Lundy

     Jeff Cole Lundy, 62, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family Jan. 24, 2015.

   Jeff was born May 16, 1952, in Lake Charles to Thomas Edward Jr. and Patricia Helms Lundy. He graduated from LaGrange High School and McNeese State University. Jeff was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. He lived out his faith in Christ to the fullest each day. He had a servantís heart that he graciously used to show others Christís love daily. He continued the family legacy of becoming an Eagle Scout. Jeff served his country honorably as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He worked in the water treatment industry for many years. Jeff had many achievements in his life, but   will be fondly remembered for being a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

   Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Cole, and his father, Thomas Edward Lundy Jr.

   Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carlena Waltrip Lundy; his son, David and his wife Leigh Erin Jones Lundy of New Orleans, La.; daughter, Rachael Lundy of Baton Rouge, La.; three stepsons, Mitchell Scott, Nicholas Keith and Matthew James Crador, all of Lake Charles, La.; mother, Patricia Lundy Bride and her husband Dr. Francis Bride; sister, Lynn and her husband James Ray of Sulphur, La.; two brothers, Hunter Lundy and his wife Julie and Matthew Lundy and his wife Marti, both of Lake Charles, La.; five grandchildren, Ella Grace, Jones Cole, Miley Claire, Callie Danielle and Colton James.

   His funeral will be at Trinity Baptist Church on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, from 4-7 p.m.at Johnson Funeral Home and Monday from noon until the time of services at Trinity Baptist Church.
